പിതാവിന്റെ വരവ് - ഉത്തരം കിട്ടാത്ത ചില ചോദ്യങ്ങള്
മൂലക്കാട്ട് പിതാവ് വന്നുപോയിട്ട് ഒരാഴ്ച ആയി. ഇവിടെ എന്തോ പ്രശ്നം ഉണ്ട് എന്ന് പിതാവിനെ ധരിപ്പിച്ചത് ആരാണന്നു അറിയില്ല. ഏതായാലും അമേരിക്കന് പര്യടനം കഴിഞ്ഞു ഇതിലെ വന്നു. വൈകിയതിനെപ്പറ്റി പലതും പറയുന്നു. യന്ത്ര തകരാറാണ്, അല്ല അമേരിക്കയിലെ ക്നാനായ പ്രശ്നം ആണ് വൈകിപ്പിച്ചത് എന്നൊക്കെ. ഏതായാലും വൈകി.
അതുകൊണ്ട് വിഗന് യുണിറ്റ് കാരെ കണ്ടില്ല. നേരെ COVENTRY യില് കൌണ്സില് മീറ്റിംഗില് പങ്കെടുത്തു. അവിടെയും വിഗന് യുണിറ്റ് പ്രശ്നം ചര്ച്ച ചെയ്തു. വഞ്ചി തിരുനക്കരെ തന്നെ. സമയം കളഞ്ഞു തിരികെ പോയി. ഒണ്ണം ദിവസം.
പ്രഭാതം പൊട്ടി വിടര്ന്നു രണ്ടാം ദിവസം . പിതാവിനെ കാണാന് Manchester ഗ്രൂപ്പ് രണ്ടും എത്തി. ചര്ച്ച തുടങ്ങി. എങ്ങും എത്തിയില്ല. രണ്ടു കൂട്ടരും രണ്ടു വഴിയെ പോയി. പിന്നെ വിഗാന് യുണിറ്റ്കാര് ഇടിച്ചു കയറി പിതാവിനെ കണ്ടു. ഫാമിലി എണ്ണം കാട്ടി. പിതാവിന് ചില കാര്യങ്ങള് മനസിലായി. "സത്യം പറഞ്ഞാല് അമ്മ ഇടി കൊള്ളും ഇല്ലങ്കില് അച്ഛന് പട്ടിയിറച്ചി കഴിക്കും എന്ന പരുവത്തില് ആയി പിതാവ്". അതുകൊണ്ട് ലേവി പടപുരയെ ഫോണ് വിളിച്ചു യുണിറ്റ് അനുവദിക്കുവാന് പറഞ്ഞു. വിഗന് യുണിറ്റ്കാര് ഹാപ്പി. നന്ദി പറഞ്ഞു പിരിഞ്ഞു.
ആര്ച് ബിഷപ്പ് ആയിട്ടും ക്നാനായ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങള് കുര്ബാനയ്ക്ക് കുറവായിരുന്നു. പിന്നെ നടന്ന സ്വീകരണം. പഴയ തറവാടിന്റെ സ്ഥിതി ദയനീയം ആയി പോയി. നാല് national കൌണ്സില് മെംബേര്സ് ഉള്ള സ്ഥലം. നൂറ്റമ്പത് ആളെ തികക്കാന് കഴ്ടപ്പെട്ടു. കരോള് പിരിച്ച വകയില് മിച്ചം വല്ലതും ഉണ്ടങ്കില് ഹോട്ടല് കാരനും മൈക്ക് കാരനും പണം കൊടുക്കാം. ആ അവസ്ഥ ആയി. പോരെ പൂരം. രാത്രി ആയി. വീണ്ടും പ്രഭാതം മൂന്നാം ദിവസം പിതാവ് സ്ഥലം കാലിയാക്കി.
വാല്കഷണം
പിതാവ് അച്ചനെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കുവാന് ബൈലോയില് മുറുക്കെ പിടിക്കുവാന് ആഹ്വാനം നടത്തി. അങ്ങനെ പാവം ലേവിയും കൂട്ടരും വെട്ടിലായി.
മാര്ച് പതിനെട്ടിന് പുതിയ അസോസിയേഷന് വരുന്നു. തന്നെയും അല്ല വനിതാ അംഗം നിയമക്കുരുക്കിലേക്ക് എന്ന് പുറം ലോകത്ത് പറച്ചില് തുടങ്ങി. പ്രശ്നം തുടരുന്നു അല്ല കൂടുതല് കുഴപ്പം ആക്കി എന്ന് ചിലര്....... .
സമാധാനത്തില് കഴിഞ്ഞവര് കൂടുതല് അകലുന്നു.
എങ്കില് പിന്നെ എന്തിനാണ് പിതാവ് വന്നത്.ആര്ക്കു എന്ത് ഗുണം കിട്ടി.
പ്രശ്നം തീര്ക്കാന് ആരും ഇവിടെ ഇല്ലേ സോദരെ?
സഭാധികാരവും സംഘടനകളും
കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭയും സംഘടനകളും തമ്മില് അണ്ടര്വെയറും വള്ളിയും പോലുള്ള അഭേദ്യ ബന്ധമായിരുന്നു നാളിതുവരെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. ഇന്നിപ്പോള് ആ ബന്ധത്തിന് ഉലച്ചില് തട്ടി തുടങ്ങിയോ എന്ന് സംശയിക്കേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. സഭ ദൈവിക സംവിധാനവും സംഘടനകള് മാനുഷിക സംവിധാനവും എന്നാണു വയ്പ്. അങ്ങനെയെങ്കില് ഇത് ദൈവവും മനുഷ്യനും തമ്മിലുള്ള സംഘര്ഷങ്ങളുടെ ആരംഭം കൂടിയാകുന്നു.
ഇതുവരെയും സംഘടനകള് സഭാധികാരികള്ക്ക് അനഭിമതരാകാതിരുന്നതിന് കാരണം ഒരു പക്ഷേ അത് നയിച്ചവര് വെറും ഏറാന് മൂളികളായത് കൊണ്ടോ അല്ലെങ്കില് സഭയുടെ ദൈനം ദിന പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങളിലെ ഏകാധിപത്യ പ്രവണതകള് സംബന്ധിച്ച വിഷയങ്ങളില് വായടച്ച് നിഷ്ക്രിയരായതുകൊണ്ടോ ആകാം. സംഘടനകള് ജനിക്കുന്നതിനും മുമ്പ് തന്നെ സഭാധികാരികള് തങ്ങളുടെ (ദൈവീക)അധികാരം വിശ്വാസികള്ക്ക്മേല് അടിച്ചേല്പിക്കുക പതിവായിരുന്നു. സംഘടനകള് വന്നിട്ടും അത്തരം പ്രവണതകള് ശമിച്ചില്ലെന്നു മാത്രമല്ല; കൂടുതല് ബലപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു.
ദൈവീകാധികാരമെന്ന പേരില് തങ്ങളുടെ താല്പര്യങ്ങള് സംരക്ഷിക്കാന് സഭാധികാരികള് കൈക്കൊണ്ട ചില വൃത്തികെട്ട സമരമുറകള് ബഹുജന മധ്യത്തില് വസ്ത്രാക്ഷേപം ചെയ്ത് സ്വയം നഗ്നരാകാനായിരുന്നു സംഘടനകളുടെ യോഗം! കേരളത്തില് സഭയുടെ കീഴിലുള്ള ആശുപത്രിയിലെ നേഴ്സുമാര് നടത്തിയ സമരത്തെ നേരിടാന് സഭാധികൃതര് തേടിയത് ഇത്തരം ഹീന മാര്ഗമാണ്. ഇത്തരം നഗ്നതാണ്ഡവങ്ങള്ക്ക് കുട പിടിക്കുന്ന സംഘടനാ പ്രവര്ത്തകര് അറിഞ്ഞോ അറിയാതെയോ സാധാരണക്കാരായ വിശ്വാസികളെ വഞ്ചിക്കുകയാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്.
സാമുദായികം പോലുള്ള വൈകാരിക വിഷയങ്ങളില് സഭാധികാരികള് കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്ന തീരുമാനങ്ങള് മനുഷ്യന്റെ ബുദ്ധിക്കും യുക്തിക്കും നിരക്കാതെ വരുമ്പോള് അത് ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യുന്ന സംഘടനകളെയും നേതാക്കളെയും അവരുടെ പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങളെയും ഒറ്റപ്പെടുത്തി പരാജയപ്പെടുത്താന് നടത്തുന്ന ശ്രമം ദൈവീകമാണെങ്കില് കൂടി വച്ചു പൊറുപ്പിക്കാവുന്ന ഒന്നല്ല. ദൈവീകാധികാരം കൈയ്യാളുന്ന തങ്ങളും മനുഷ്യരാണെന്ന മട്ടില് ഈ വിഷയങ്ങളെ സമീപിക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ട്.
കെ.സി.സി.എന്.എ. യുടെ കണ്വന്ഷനില് നിന്ന് വിട്ടു നില്ക്കാനുള്ള അങ്ങാടിയത്ത് പിതാവിന്റെ നിലപാട് ഈയര്ത്ഥത്തില് അദ്ദേഹം പുനപരിശോധിക്കുകയാണ് വേണ്ടത്.. സഭാധികാരികളുടെ ഇംഗിതത്തിനു വഴങ്ങിയില്ലെന്ന കാരണത്താല് പള്ളിയോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് സമാന്തര സംഘടനകള് രൂപീകരിക്കുന്നതില് എന്ത് അര്ത്ഥമാണുള്ളത്? രണ്ടിലും അംഗങ്ങള് ആയിട്ടുള്ള വിശ്വാസി സമൂഹം ഒന്നായിരിക്കെ എന്തിനാണ് രണ്ടു സംഘടനകള് ?
ദൈവീകമായി തങ്ങള്ക്ക് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ശ്ലൈഹീക അധികാരം കൂദാശകള്ക്ക് മാത്രമായി പരിമിതപ്പെടുത്തി മാനുഷികമായി ചിന്തിച്ച് അല്മായ സംഘടനകളുമായി കൈ കോര്ത്ത് സഭാധികാരികള് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നതല്ലേ ആധുനിക ലോകക്രമത്തിന് കൂടുതല് ഉചിതം?

അമേരിക്കയില് നിന്നുള്ള കമെന്റുകള്
According to Mar Moolakat's speech in Chicago, he says Knanites started marrying from out side since 1950s. This is an utter foolish statement. Those who wants to leave the mother community had been doing this since AD 345. Those who left the mother community did so purposely or unpurposely, that was their choice. Modern Knanaya Bishops and Priests do not know Knanaya histories because they are ordained through CMI, JESUITS, SALETIENS, CARMELITES, CAPUCHINS and several other Congregations. They learn Knanaya histories only after they ordain as priests. If Mar Moolakkat knew the Knanaya histories well he wouldn't have come up with the stupid MOOLAKKAT FORMULA. This formula breaks up a united family. This formula will be a family disaster. Knanites never heard of such formulas until 2004.
The very basic problem started in Knanaya Catholic community was, when Our Archbishop Kunnassery proclaimed back in 2002 at the ORLANDO Convention that " I AM NOT YOUR BISHOP," ANGADIYATH IS YOUR BISHOP." At this point please remember Bishop Mar Thomas Tharayil. Once Mar.Thomas Tharayil said "I AM THE POPE OF ALL KNANITES IN THE UNIVERSE". Salute Mar Tharayil and pray for his grace. We don't need Bishops and priests who deny their own people. This community needs Bishops like Mar Makil, Choolaparambil and Tharayil.
In order to have a peaceful solution in Knanaya Catholic Community in the USA disburse all the MIXED SYRO_KNA MISSIONS and bring back the status quo of Knanaya Missions prior to the formation of Chicago Syro Malabar Diocese.

ചൂടു ചോറു വാരുന്ന മൂലക്കാട്ടു മെത്രാന്
അമേരിക്കയില് ക്നാനായക്കാര്ക്ക് തനതായ ഇടവക അനുവദിക്കാനാവില്ലെന്ന് റോമിന്റെ നിര്ദ്ദേശം (റിസ്ക്രിപ്റ്റ്) ഉണ്ടെന്നു പറഞ്ഞ് 1986 മുതല് പേടിപ്പിച്ചു വരികയായിരുന്നു.റിസ്ക്രിപ്റ്റ് മാറ്റിതരാമെന്ന വാഗ്ദാനം കൊടുത്താണ് മാര് കുന്നശ്ശേരിയുടെ സഹായത്താല് പാലാക്കാരന് അങ്ങാടിയത്തച്ചന് മെത്രാനായത്.
മാര് അങ്ങാടിയത്തിന്റെ സ്വഭാവം തലതിരിയാന് അധിക സമയം വേണ്ടിവന്നില്ല. റോമന് റിസ്ക്രിപ്റ്റിന്റെ മുള്മുന ക്നാനായക്കാര്ക്ക് നേരെ തിരിച്ചുവെച്ച്, അങ്ങാടിയില്വച്ച് കണ്ട പരിചയം പോലും നടിക്കാതെ അദ്ദേഹം നടന്നുനീങ്ങി. റോമന് റിസ്ക്രിപ്റ്റ് മാറ്റിതരാമെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് പറ്റിച്ച് മോണ്: മുത്തോലത്ത് ക്നാനായക്കാരെക്കൊണ്ട് പള്ളി വാങ്ങിപ്പിച്ച് മാര് അങ്ങാടിയത്തിന് കൊടുത്തു. അമേരിക്കന് കാനാനായര് അങ്ങാടിയത്തിന്റെ കീഴിലാണെന്നും കോട്ടയം മെത്രാന് അവിടെ അധികാരം ഇല്ലെന്നും അമേരിക്കയിലെത്തി പ്രസംഗിച്ചു നടന്നിരുന്ന മാര് മുലക്കാട്ട്, അധികാരമുണ്ടെന്ന ഭാവത്തില് വിവാദമായ ചിക്കാഗോ പ്രസംഗത്തിലൂടെ ലോകത്തിലുള്ള എല്ലാ ക്നാനായക്കാരുടെമേലും റോമന് റിസ്ക്രിപ്റ്റ് അടിച്ചേല്പ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
VG മുത്തോലത്ത് അങ്ങാടിയത്തിനു വേണ്ടിയെഴുതിയ തീട്ടുരം മാര് മൂലക്കാടിനെ കൊണ്ട് വായിപ്പിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ സമുദായത്തിന്റെ ശത്രുവാക്കി മാറ്റിയിരിക്കുകയാണ്. അമേരിക്കയിലെ ക്നാനായക്കാരുടെമേല് തീരുമാനമെടുക്കേണ്ട മാര് അങ്ങാടിയത്ത് തന്ത്രപൂര്വ്വം അത് പാവം മൂലക്കാടിനെ ഏല്പ്പിച്ച് സ്വന്തം തടി രക്ഷിച്ചു. ക്നാനായക്കാര് അമേരിക്കയില് വാങ്ങിയ ആറു പള്ളിയും ഒരു മഠവും ക്നാനായ ആര്ച്ച് ബിഷപ്പിനെ കൂടെനിര്ത്തി ഒറ്റയടിക്ക് ഒറ്റയ്ക്ക് വെഞ്ചരിച്ചു. മുത്തോലത്തച്ചന് വാങ്ങി മൂലക്കാടിന് മറുവിലയായി കൊടുത്ത ചേര്പ്പുങ്കലെ അഗാപ്പെ കെട്ടിടം വെഞ്ചരിച്ചതും മാര് അങ്ങാടിയത്ത്തന്നെ. സ്വന്തം വലുപ്പം അറിയാന് കഴിയാത്ത മൂലക്കാട്ട് മെത്രാന് സമുദായചരിത്രം ഇനിയും പഠിക്കേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. പുതുതായി ഒന്നും നേടിത്തരേണ്ട; നിലവിലുള്ളതൊക്കെ സംരഷിക്കാന് മാത്രമേ സമുദായം അവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നുള്ളു. അത് നിലനിര്ത്താന്കഴിയുന്നില്ലെങ്കില് രാജിവച്ച് ഇറ്റലിയിലെ പഴയ ആവൃതിയിലേയ്ക്ക് തിരികെപ്രവേശിക്കുകയാണ് കരണീയം.

പുതിയ ബിലാത്തി വാരാന്ത്യം (Week 10 of 2012)
ലോക വനിതാ ദിനം, മലയാളിയായ വിദ്യാ ബാലന് അഭിനയത്തിന് ദേശീയ പുരസ്ക്കാരം, ഹിന്ദിയിലും മലയാളത്തിലും നിരവധി മറക്കാനാവാത്ത ഗാനങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഈണം നല്കിയ ബോംബെ രവിയുടെ നിര്യാണം, വടക്കേ ഇന്ത്യയില് ഹോളി...... സംഭവബഹുലമായിരുന്നു ഈ ആഴ്ച.
അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ഇത്തവണത്തെ സെലക്ഷന് എളുപ്പമായിരുന്നില്ല. ബിലാത്തി വാരാന്ത്യത്തില് വായിക്കാന് വിഭവങ്ങള് ഏറെയുണ്ട് - സമയം അനുവദിക്കുമെങ്കില്.

Christian & Knannaite 5
Hopefully the tension is bit eased with the visit of our Supreme Commander Mar Mathew Moolakkatt, who appears to have supported the Knannaites than UKKCA, which was expected, when he sees things from a Kottayam view point. Reassuring the status of all Knannaites also praiseworthy, once a Knannaite will remain as Knannaite until his or her death, it’s for the individual to decide whether to be associated with Kottayam Diocese as an individual member. Also we could see his most gracious supporting small groups to form Koodarayogangal, which is again the basis of our Christian spiritual life. He also clearly supported UKKCA for its collective decisions and constitutional standings, if needed requesting for constitutional amendments is the best option we have for the moment.
What’s more important for us now is the unity, at least let the non-knannaites know we are one and successfully resolved our differences through this holy intervention and turn off our smoking guns and implement a total "truce", again at least for the sake of our youngsters or our children who silently watch all these aimless factional war. These infighting is not going to take us anywhere, few may feel they are winning the battle, but surely we are losing the war. Please try to remember “United we stand, divided we fall”. Also please do not drag your children to these issues and do not impose any restriction for meeting up with their friends, they are our future, allow them to live their life.
It’s always good for us to learn from the actions and experience of our sister association like KCCNA for our better future, let’s just examine the creation and developments of KCCNA over the last 27 years, KCCNA was established long, at least 20 years before the current Syro-Malabar system in America, then why KCCNA is less important for them now. How Syro-Malabar hierarchy could decline the request for attending the biggest convention in America. The only reason that Knanaya leaders and members made it less important by keeping KCCNA as a private organisation, just only for Knannaites and not bothered to demonstrate their number, unity and strength to the larger or the natural community in America, which is the existing White Catholic Community. Whereas the Syro-Malabar priests effectively used our strength and demonstrated that Syro-Malabar is stronger than Knannaites in all aspects. In short, due to covet or introvert leadership styles KCCNA was not recognised as a major catholic group in America within the wider catholic community, and it’s for us to examine whether UKKCA is following a similar path.
UKKCA is celebrating it’s 11th Convention, another seven thousand or more Knannaites may turn up to sing and dance to the tunes of Marthoman... and again will make it a private function unless, not deviates from the traditional path. None of the other UK community including the larger catholic community will ever notice it, leaders will compete each other for photo sessions, only to fill up Malayalam online newspapers, in their less important community or spiritual pages. Whereas the monthly bible retreats by the Sehion team in Birmingham is being attended by Bishops, Priests and influential layman from UK Catholic Church and is being recognised as a major Syro-Malabar Catholic function. I am also a regular attendee, appreciating the sincere efforts of those priests and layman, not only to spread the good news but by becoming a medium to bridge the gap between the migrants and host community.
If this situation to continue, think yourself who will represent Malayalee Catholics in UK, well known and highly popular Syro-Malabar team or less known UKKCA. If UK Catholic Bishops agree to create an ethnic catholic diocese or to develop a forum to recognise the presence of minority Catholics, who will be consulted first. Does anyone think, UKKCA will be invited or at least will someone bothers to let’s know of any consultations or discussions. Those times Syro-Malabar will become the real heroes and we will become the real zeros, a repetition of what’s happening in America or to KCCNA. Our current spiritual leaders will run of to Kottayam, new spiritual leadership will utilise the opportunity to assume command and simply blame the incompetent lay leadership, days are not far for this to happen. Remember after all these hefty financial support to Kottayam Diocese by American Knannaites, Mar Mathew Moolakat reserved his decision to attend the upcoming Florida Convention, only to please Syro-Malabar top brass.
After a forest fire in Yellowstone National Park, forest rangers began their trek up a mountain to assess the inferno's damage. One ranger found a bird literally petrified in ashes, perched statuesquely on the ground at the base of a tree. Somewhat sickened by the eerie sight, he knocked over the bird with a stick. When he gently struck it, three tiny chicks scurried from under their dead mother's wings. The loving mother, keenly aware of impending disaster, had carried her offspring to the base of the tree and had gathered them under her wings, instinctively knowing that the toxic smoke would rise. She could have flown to safety but had refused to abandon her babies. When the blaze had arrived and the heat had scorched her small body, the mother had remained steadfast. Because she had been willing to die, those under the cover of her wings would live. Being loved this much should make a difference in your life.
Even though Knannaites don’t expect a similar protection from our Archbishop, we are not expecting him to fly away, leaving us to mend for our ways.
Whereas our Holy Bible proclaims "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge." (Psalm 91:4)

മൂലക്കാട്ട് പിതാവിനെതിരെ പ്രതിഷേധം

ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ച്, ചുവടെ കാണുന്ന ഒരു പ്രതികരണവും അമേരിക്കന് കനാ വഴി പ്രചരിച്ചു വന്നു:

നിവേദനത്തിന്റെ ഉള്ളടക്കത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ഓരോരുത്തര്ക്കും അവരുടെതായ വിലയിരുത്തലുകള് ഉണ്ടാവട്ടെ. അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചല്ല ഇവിടെ പറയാന് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത്.
ഈ നിവേദനം ഇനിയും മൂലക്കാട്ട് തിരുമേനിയുടെ കൈകളില് എത്തിയിട്ടില്ല എന്നാണു അറിയാന് കഴിഞ്ഞത്. അരമനയില് ഏല്പിച്ച നിവേദനം ലീക്ക് ചെയ്യുകയും, അമേരിക്ക മുഴുവന് പടരുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. വത്തിക്കാനില് രസ്യരേഖകള് ചോരുന്നു എന്നത് ഈയിടയിലാണ് കേട്ടത്. അത് കോട്ടയം അരമനയിലും സംഭവിക്കുന്നത് ഉത്കണ്ഠാജനകമാണ്.
ശത്രുക്കളാല് ചുറ്റപെട്ടാണ് മാക്കീല് പിതാവ് നീണ്ട പതിനഞ്ചു വര്ഷം ചങ്ങനാശ്ശേരി അരമനയില് കഴിഞ്ഞുകൂടിയത്. അതിനെത്തുടര്ന്നാണ് കോട്ടയം രൂപത സ്ഥാപിതമായത്. ഇന്ന് കോട്ടയത്തു പോലും ശത്രു പാളയമോ?
ഇന്നത്തെ പ്രധിസന്ധി മൊത്തതിന്റെയും സൂത്രധാരകന് മുത്തു ആണ്. അങ്ങേര് “എന്നെ കണ്ടാല് കിണ്ണം കട്ടെന്നു തോന്നുമോ?” എന്ന മട്ടില് ചിക്കാഗോയിലിരുന്നു സുഖിക്കുന്നു. മുള്ക്കിരീടമാകട്ടെ, മുത്തുവിന്റെ കെണിയില് വീണ പാവം മൂലക്കാട്ട് പിതാവിന്റെ തലയിലും! ഈ കത്തു ലീക്ക് ചെയ്തതിന്റെ പിന്നില് മുത്തുവിന്റെ കറുത്ത കൈകള് അല്ലെന്നു ആര് കണ്ടു?
കര്ത്താവേ, ദുഷ്ടനെ പനപോലെ വളര്ത്തിയാല് പോരെ, മലപോലെ വളര്ത്തണമോ?

അമേരിക്കയില് ക്നാനായക്കാര്ക്കിടയിലുള്ള ആശയക്കുഴപ്പം സംബന്ധിച് തികഞ്ഞ അവ്യക്തത തന്നെയാണുള്ളത്. കെ.സി.സി.എന്.എ. പ്രസിഡന്റ് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച കത്ത് ഈയവസരത്തില് ഏറ്റവും അനുയോജ്യമായി കരുതുന്നു.
ആശയക്കുഴപ്പം സംബന്ധിച് മൂലക്കാട്ട് പിതാവ് ചില വ്യക്തത നല്കിയത് കണ്ടു. അതനുസരിച്ച് സമുദായം മാറി വിവാഹിതരായവര്ക്ക് ക്നാനായ മിഷനില് തുടരാമെന്നും ജീവിത പങ്കാളിക്കും കുട്ടികള്ക്കും സീറോ മലബാര് സഭയുടെ കീഴില് തുടരാമെന്നുമാണ് മനസിലാകുന്നത്. കുടുംബത്തില് ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു വേര്തിരിവ് വരുന്നതിന്റെ ഭവിഷ്യത്ത് മനസിലാക്കി കുടുംബ നാഥനും ക്നാനായ മിഷനില് നിന്ന് മാറി സീറോ മലബാര് സഭയില് തുടരുന്നത് തന്നെയായിരിക്കും അഭികാമ്യം എന്നും പിതാവ് പറയുന്നു.
എന്നാല് സീറോ മലബാര് സഭയുടെ അമേരിക്കയിലെ അധ്യക്ഷന് മാര് അങ്ങാടിയാത്ത് ഈ വിഷയത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്ളതിലാണ് അവ്യക്തത എന്ന് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഇത് സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള പ്രസ്താവന വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു.
സമുദായം മാറി കല്യാണം കഴിച്ച ക്നാനായക്കാരനും കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളും ക്നാനായ മിഷനില് തന്നെ തുടരണം എന്നാണു സഭ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നത് എന്നാണ് ഈ വിഷയം സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കാഴ്ചപ്പാട്..
മൂലക്കാട്ട് പിതാവ് പറയുന്ന ക്ലാരിഫികേഷന് അല്ല അങ്ങാടിയത്ത് നല്കുന്നത്. ഇവിടെയാണ് അവ്യക്തത. ഈ രണ്ടു മെത്രാന്മാരെയും ശ്രവിക്കുന്ന ക്നാനായക്കാരെയാകട്ടെ ഇതൊന്നും ബാധിക്കുന്നെയില്ല. കാരണം അവര് അന്യ സമുദായത്തില് നിന്നല്ല വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. എന്നാല് ലോകത്ത് മറ്റെല്ലായിടത്തും എന്നതുപോലെ അന്യ സഭകളില് നിന്ന് വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള അനേകം ക്നാനായക്കാര് ഉള്ള രാജ്യം കൂടിയാണ് അമേരിക്ക.
വിദൂര ഭാവിയില് ക്നാനായ സമുദായത്തിന്റെ വ്യക്തിത്വം കോട്ടം വരാതെ കാത്തു സൂക്ഷിക്കണമെങ്കില് ഇത്തരം അവ്യക്തതകള് ഒഴിവാക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ട്. കെ.സി.സി.എന്..എ. പ്രസിഡന്റ് ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നതുപോലെ ഇത് സംബന്ധിച് മൂലക്കാട്ട് പിതാവ് പറയുന്ന കാര്യം തന്നെ അങ്ങാടിയത്ത് പിതാവും ശരി വയ്ക്കുക എന്നതാണ് സമുദായത്തിന്റെ ആവശ്യം.
ക്നാനായക്കാരനല്ലാത്ത മെത്രാന് കീഴില് വിശ്വാസികളായി തുടരുക എന്നതാണ് അമേരിക്കയിലെ ക്നാനായക്കാരുടെ ദൈവ നിയോഗം. ഇത് യഥാര്ത്ഥത്തില് ആയിരത്തി തൊള്ളായിരത്തി പതിനൊന്നിന് മുമ്പ് കേരളത്തിലെ ക്നാനായക്കാരുടെ അതേ അവസ്ഥ തന്നെയാണ്.
കേരളത്തില് നമുക്ക് അനുവദിച്ചു കിട്ടിയിട്ടുള്ള സ്വയംഭരണാവകാശ അധികാരം അങ്ങാടിയത്ത് പിതാവിന് അറിവുള്ളതാണ്. ലോകത്തെവിടെയായാലും വംശീയ പാരമ്പര്യം കാത്തു സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നതില് ഇത്രയേറെ ശുഷ്കാന്തി പുലര്ത്തുന്ന അപൂര്വം സമൂഹങ്ങളില് ഒന്നായി കണ്ട് ഭാവിയില് അതിന്റെ തനിമ നില നിര്ത്തുന്നതിനു വേണ്ട ഒത്താശകള് പിതാവിന്റെ ഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്ന് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാം.
സംഘടനകളും സമുദായാംഗങ്ങളായ അജപാലകരും ഈ വിഷയത്തില് വേണ്ടത്ര ജാഗ്രതയോടെ ഉണര്ന്നു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ട്. നിര്ഭാഗ്യവശാല് വേട്ട മൃഗവും ഇരയും എന്ന ജന്തു സംസ്കാരത്തിലേക്ക് തരം താഴുന്ന ഗതി കെട്ട കാഴ്ചയാണ് പക്ഷം ചേര്ന്നുള്ള ആക്രമണ പ്രത്യാക്രമണങ്ങളില് പ്രകടമാകുന്നത്.
സമുദായത്തിന് ഗുണപരമായ ഇത്തരം ആവശ്യങ്ങളെയും നിര്ദ്ദേശങ്ങളെയും പിന്തുണയ്ക്കുക എന്നതാണ് ഓരോ ക്നാനായക്കാരന്റെയും ദൗത്യം. വ്യക്തിപരമായ ഇഷ്ടാനിഷ്ടങ്ങള്ക്ക് പ്രസക്തിയില്ലെന്ന് മാത്രമല്ല, സമുദായത്തിന്റെ ഗുണപരമായ വളര്ച്ചയ്ക്ക് അത് ഹാനികരമായി തീരുകയും ചെയ്തേക്കാം.

അമേരിക്കയില് നിന്ന് മറ്റൊരു കത്ത്
ഇന്ന് അമേരിക്കയിലെ ക്നാനായ സമൂഹത്തില് സംഭവിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം നാളെ ഇവിടെയും ആവര്ത്തിക്കപെടാം. അതുകൊണ്ടാണ്, KCCNA President-ന്റെ ഈ കത്ത് ഇവിടെ പ്രസധീകരിക്കുന്നത്.
My dear Knanaya brothers and sisters,
Over the last week or so, there has been lot of speculation regarding the outcome and the steps taken by KCCNA following the meeting in Los Angeles between KCCNA Executive committee, Arch Bishop Moolakattu and priests of Knanaya Region. I want to provide the following clarifications and assure each one of you that KCCNA will not sacrifice the interests of the community under any circumstances. I also want to emphasize that as a federation of members associations throughout the country, we will make decisions only after each and every community member is provided an opportunity to give their input through your respective Knanaya Associations.
As pointed out in the minutes of the meeting that was released, Our Arch Bishop provided a new clarification to membership criteria for membership in Knanaya missions/parishes in North America. According to this criteria, "only Knanaya people who are born to Knanaya parents are members of Knanaya missions/parishes and if they marry a non-knanaya person, they can continue in the missions/parishes as members however their non-Knanaya spouse and children will not be members of Knanaya Missions/parishes". This was also broadcasted by Knanaya Media managed by Fr. Mutholath. Our Arch Bishop reiterated it again during a speech in Chicago which was broadcasted through youtube worldwide by Knanaya voice.
The reason why it is considered as a new is because even though our Bishop had outlined the same criteria back in July 2003 during a meeting between KCCNA Executive Committee and Knanaya spiritual directors, Bishop Angadiath's directive that followed in Dec 2003 was different. Hence our Arch Bishop confirmed at a National Council meeting in early 2004 that our missions has been watered down from the criteria he had outlined earlier in 2003. Our community members across North America through their respective associations passed resolutions and adopted a non-cooperation stand towards the Syro Malabar Diocese based on the directive to include non-knanaya persons in 'Knanaya' parishes and missions because that would have permanently changed our tradition/definition of who we are "Knanites".
In 2008 we as a community revisited the issue and further clarified that we will cooperate in all areas where we can cooperate with the diocese and Bishop, including supporting Knanaya missions/parishes, however reiterated our stand against including non-knanaya persons in Knanaya missions/parishes. During that decision also, the community members had an opportunity to provide feed back through their member associations to KCCNA before a decision was made by the KCCNA National Council. As you might have seen in the most recent Video circulated through youtube, our Arch Bishop confirmed in his response to a question from the audience that we (the community) will not agree to/accept the 2003 directive from Bishop Angadiath to include non-knanaya persons in Knanaya missions/parishes. This stand has been repeatedly confirmed by our community members in North America.
The new membership criteria that our Arch bishop outlined, is consistent with what was proposed by His Excellency in 2003. Since the Knanaya Missions and Parishes are under Mar Angadiath’s jurisdiction and authority, KCCNA Executive Committee has requested Bishop Angadiath's concurrence on this membership criteria. We believe such a confirmation from Mar Angadiath will prevent unnecessary speculations and misunderstandings among the community members and can help to initiate the reconciliation process. As soon as we get concurrence from the Bishop, we will share that with all of you and we will request associations to call a general body meeting to gather your input. As in the past, KCCNA’s decision will be only based on the feedback from you.
Myself, KCCNA executive committee members, convention committee members and each one of you are faced with the possibility that our Bishops and priests might not be able to attend our upcoming KCCNA convention given the jurisdictional limitations caused by Bishop Mar Angadiath's decision to not to accept/participate at our convention. Therefore we have requested Bishop Mar Angadiath, to reconsider the decision to not to participate at our convention, which will pave the way for our Bishops and Priests to participate at the convention. We pointed out that non-cooperation and convention participation are two different issues, particularly since the non-cooperation has been in place since 2002.
I want to assure you that KCCNA executive committee will not succumb to any threats/pressures and we are duty bound to uphold the dignity of our community. We will only do what is best for the community in the long run after taking input from each one of you. Conventions may come and go, KCCNA executives may come and go, however 1700 years of Knanaya traditions cannot be sacrificed under pressure through hasty, forced and careless decisions. As always our strength, determination and confidence to stand firm for our community is dependent on the support, prayers and courage each one of you have provided to KCCNA and our Community over the years. We can assure you that the trust you have placed in us will not be compromised. We look forward to your continued support and participation.
I also take this opportunity to really appreciate and thank the nearly 600 families who have already come forward to register for the KCCNA convention.
