I take this opportunity to appreciate the creation of a forum like this and I am sure this discussion forum is going to get a huge attraction as there is no official discussion forum for UKKCA to discuss these issues. Healthy debate and constructive ideas always strengthen our community and our association.
The ideal way, in my opinion, should be UKKCA starting such a group blog where all the members could voice their opinion and have some meaningful and purposeful discussions. This was happening during my tenure as I created a group site to provide a medium to communicate with our members.
In view of the elections expected soon, this should be seen as a priority so that all the members can express their views.

It is a good suggestion, UKKCA should start a blog to have constructive ideas and discussions. Now who will take the initiative?
ReplyDeleteIdeally, Lijo should answer the above question.
ReplyDeleteIn my humble opinion, it should not be a problem. There are enough IT boys in our community. Though they may not be willing to fight elections and become leaders, if given such assignments, they might do a wonderful job.
Leaders should not be worried about such professionals outsmarting them. Think, how people like V.S. are able to get work from IAS Officers. Or, remember Caritas Director, who knows nothing about medical science, is able to control a team of highly qualified doctors.
If there is a will .....
You were right, we have plenty of professionals and experts in our community and why can't we use their expertise.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, President and G.Secretary should take the initiatives to lead the role.
Thanks
