About British Kna (Again)

The popularity of British Kna is making many upset.

As the Administrator of this Group Blog, I am afraid, most of the members of the U.K. Knanaya Community have not understood the concept and purpose of this discussion forum.

Unlike the normal online media or website, this is not a single person’s property.  This is a discussion forum where up to 100 persons can join as Contributors and express their views, independently.  If this forum seems to be one sided or biased the only reason is that many people shy away from this unique facility by refusing to become a part of this.

In any  organization on democratic lines, we need discussions.  Unfortunately, UKKCA bosses have been behaving like mini “Thirumenies” thinking they are beyond any criticism.  Sadly, that is not the case.  They are elected by the people and they are answerable to every member of our community.  When they do wrong things, the members have a right to raise their voice and say, “foul, foul!”

Using this same facility the “bosses” can also communicate with the people and explain their actions.

If they think it is below their dignity and want to look the other way, well, the ordinary members who had no voice till recently now have a forum to express themselves.  Those  who don’t want to be a part of this Group Blog should not then become upset.  If you are too arrogant to think that this is below your dignity, then ignore it!

  1. The activity of leading a group of people or an organization, or the ability to do this.

In its essence, leadership in an organizational role involves (1) establishing a clear vision, (2) sharing that vision with others so that they will follow willingly, (3) providing the information, knowledge, and methods to realize that vision, and (4) coordinating and balancing the conflicting interests of all members or stakeholders. A leader comes to the forefront in case of crisis, and is able to think and act in creative ways in difficult situations. Unlike management, leadership flows from the core of a personality and cannot be taught, although it may be learned and may be enhanced through coaching or mentoring.

  2. Jobin, the words of wisdom you have quoted, for most of the present leadership of UKKCA, is "water off the duck's back."

It will not affect them. Any way, ducks do need water!
